Lighting fixtures are being led by candle lights, incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, to energy-saving, efficient, environmentally friendly, long-life LED lighting.

The LED lighting industry is booming and the market for LED lighting is growing. As a fourth-generation light source, LED lighting fixtures are a long-life modern lighting fixture because of their energy-saving and high-efficiency pollution. Therefore, they will replace existing incandescent lamps and fluorescent energy-saving lamps in a few years. China's LED lighting industry is experiencing big waves, survival of the fittest and efforts to optimize and improve itself. In 2012, the LED lighting industry was hardly affected by the global economic crisis. With the vigorous promotion of governments, the LED lighting industry is developing rapidly. The LED lighting industry chain has grown and improved rapidly during this economic crisis. The new generation of LED lighting technology has developed rapidly. Millions of companies in the LED lighting industry chain are thriving.

LED light sources must be supplied with constant current for normal, healthy and long life. Therefore, providing a stable constant current power supply to the LED lamp bead is the key to the technical power of the LED drive power supply. The driving chip of the constant current power supply is the core technology of the LED driving power supply. LED lighting is an emerging technology. In the early days, because there was no dedicated LED lamp bead to drive the constant current power chip, only the switching power supply chip for switching power supply, charger, adapter, and the constant current circuit at the back end could be used. Reluctantly meet the needs of LED lighting fixtures that require constant current drive power. In recent years, integrated circuit manufacturers at home and abroad have paid attention to and researched constant-current source driver chips for LED lighting. At the same time, they have developed and produced constant-current source driver chips for LED lighting at the same time, and at the same time, LEDs with high integration and simple application circuits. The lighting constant current source driving chip is introduced to the market, and enters the healthy development era of the constant current source driving chip for LED lighting.

Indoor lighting LED lamps will be truly massive products, requiring LED lamp beads with good cost performance and high brightness, and a constant current driving power supply with good cost performance and stable performance. The LED light source needs to be driven by a clean DC constant current power supply, so that it can be illuminated without flicker and high brightness, illuminating the world.

The biggest feature of indoor general lighting is the massive and inexpensive. For example, an LED light source that directly replaces an incandescent lamp and a fluorescent energy-saving lamp, the lumen number is mainly between 200 lm and 900 lm, and the power corresponding to the LED light source is about 3 W to 10 W. Since 2012, the price of LED lamps and lanterns of international manufacturers has entered below RMB 1/W. How to reduce the cost of driving power sources in LED light sources has become an important issue in the development of LED lighting. How to make the performance of the LED driver power supply meet the needs of LED lighting fixtures, and the cost can be controlled. The high-performance LED power supply dedicated driver chip is the key.

At present, the driving power supply for indoor LED lighting fixtures mainly includes primary side control (PSR) isolated switching constant current power supply, non-isolated switching constant current power supply, and high voltage linear constant current power supply.

Primary side control (PSR) isolated switch constant current power supply, non-isolated switch constant current power supply is currently the most used mainstream power supply for indoor LED lighting.

With the advent of HV LED lamp bead technology, non-isolated high-voltage linear constant current LED drive power technology has become a new hot spot for LED light source drive. Non-isolated high-voltage linear constant-current drive power supplies have no transformers, inductors, and electrolytic capacitors, and their overall cost can be reduced by 30-50% compared to isolated or non-isolated switching constant-current drive power supplies. Therefore, it is very suitable for a new generation of low-cost ELC lamp beads to produce a large number of affordable LED lighting fixtures. ELC is a major revolution in LED lamp technology. Taiwan's Jingyuan Optoelectronics is the first to introduce ELC (embeddedLED chip) LEDs. ELC is a flip chip series. It is packaged in eutectic soldering process. ELC chips do not need to be packaged and packaged by LED packaging factories. The gold wire can be directly bonded to the lamp bead aluminum substrate for low purchase price and application cost.
