Electronic component sensors increase development efforts

Electronic component sensor technology is the cutting-edge technology of modern science and technology, and the sensor industry is also recognized as a promising high-tech industry at home and abroad. It has attracted worldwide attention for its high technological content, good economic returns, strong penetration capabilities, and broad market prospects. Industry experts recently stated that as the impact of the international financial crisis on China’s real economy has further deepened, China’s automation industry has fallen into a depression, and domestic sensors are lagging behind the international advanced level in sensing information, intelligence, and networking. Increase the intensity of sensor research and development to provide support for instrumentation products.

The first is to speed up the development of new sensors. Analytical instruments are the basis for sustainable development of science and technology, economy, and society in China. There is an urgent need for miniaturization of various types of new sensors as sources of information inquiries in areas such as industrial process control, facility agriculture, biomedicine, environmental control, food safety, and even aerospace and defense engineering. A new generation of analytical instruments that are specialized, simple-to-use, and family-oriented, enabling more sensitive, accurate, faster, and more reliable real-time detection to rapidly change the backwardness of our analytical instruments.

The second is to accelerate technological development and promote sensor technology. For decades, advances in microelectronics technology have promoted the development of sensor technology. In the next 10-20 years, the traditional silicon technology will enter the mature stage. By then, 300mm diameter silicon wafers will be used in large quantities for production, making silicon's low-cost manufacturing technology and silicon application technology unprecedented development. It will develop and produce miniature sensors and smart sensors. New sensors provide technical support. From the overall development point of view, traditional silicon technology will continue until 2047 before it tends to be saturated. The current microelectronics technology will continue to follow the “equal reduction principle” and “Moore's Law” and continue to expand the cross-disciplinary horizontal applications of silicon and break through the “non-steady state physics”. Device." The two major directions in the development of the above microelectronics technology are the major development directions of sensor technology in the current and even the next 20 years.
