Danfoss frequency converters offer two different methods for performing a factory reset. Here’s how you can do it:

Method 1: Using the LCP 102 Panel

1. Turn off the main power supply and wait until the display turns off completely.
2. During the power-up sequence, press and hold the [Status], [Main Menu], and [OK] buttons on the LCP 102 panel.
3. Keep the keys pressed for approximately 5 seconds, then release them.
4. Once completed, the drive will be reset to its default factory settings.

After this process, most parameters are set back to their default values, except for certain key operational and protection parameters such as P15-00 (runtime), P15-03 (frequency), P15-04 (over-temperature), and P15-05 (over-voltage). These remain as configured by the user.

Method 2: Through the Parameter Menu

1. Navigate to parameter P14-22 and select the "Initialize" option.
2. Press [OK] to confirm the selection.
3. Turn off the main power supply and wait for the display to fully turn off.
4. Reconnect the main power and restart the system.

This method resets most of the parameters to their default values, with the exception of some critical communication and protection settings such as P8-30, P8-31 (protocol addresses), P8-32 (FC Port Baud Rate), P8-35–P8-37 (response delays), P14-50 (RFI filter), and P15-00–P15-05 (runtime and over-voltage settings). Additionally, parameters like P15-20–P15-22 (event records) and P15-30–P15-32 (error codes and alarm logs) also retain their previous configurations.

It's important to note that both methods should be used carefully, especially in industrial environments where system stability is crucial. Always ensure that all safety procedures are followed before initiating any reset or configuration change.
