CISSOID has launched the second generation of its HADESTM isolated gate driver, a highly integrated solution designed for high-density power converters, motor drives, and actuator applications. This advanced product is optimized for use with fast-switching silicon carbide (SiC) transistors, conventional power MOSFETs, and IGBTs. Known for their exceptional durability, CISSOID's products ensure higher reliability and longer lifespan in challenging environments, making them ideal for aerospace, automotive, industrial, oil, and gas sectors. HADES? comes in both hermetic ceramic and plastic packages. The ceramic version is suitable for extreme temperature applications up to 225°C, while the plastic variant is ideal for systems operating up to 175°C but with an emphasis on extended service life. The HADES® v2 gate driver offers a complete, highly integrated solution for driving power switches in isolated high-voltage half-bridges. This compact design fully leverages the benefits of fast-switching SiC transistors, enhancing efficiency and performance in power electronics systems. The chipset consists of three key components: the HADES2P on the primary side, the HADES2S on the secondary side, and the newly introduced four-diode ELARA. Both the primary and secondary chips are available in ceramic QFP 32-pin or plastic QFP 44-pin packages, offering flexibility for different application needs. The primary-side chip (HADES2P) features an integrated 0.8 ohm-80V switch, along with configurable non-overlapping and undervoltage lockout (UVLO) fault management functions. It also includes a four-channel isolated signal transceiver (2 Tx and 2 Rx) for transmitting PWM and fault signals from the secondary side through a compact pulse transformer. The secondary-side chips (HADES2S), one for high-side and one for low-side, include a 12A driver, UVLO, desaturation, and over-temperature protection (OTP) fault detection circuitry, as well as a dual-channel isolated signal transceiver. This ensures robust and safe operation under various conditions. HADES® v2’s thermal durability allows designers to place gate drivers close to power transistors, minimizing parasitic inductance and enabling faster switching with reduced switching losses. Lower switching losses lead to higher operating frequencies, which in turn reduce the size and weight of capacitors and magnetic components. Additionally, higher operating temperatures mean lower cooling requirements, resulting in a more compact and efficient system overall. The HADES® v2 chipset is optimized to minimize the number and size of active and passive components, making it ideal for integration into Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs). When the gate driver is placed next to the power switch, this integration increases the power density of the converter, ensuring reliable long-term operation at high temperatures—several years of service in applications ranging from 100°C to 175°C, or thousands of hours at extreme temperatures between 175°C and 225°C. The 6LAN Software Router is a software router device with 6 local area network (LAN) interfaces.
Functional Features:
Routing Function: It realizes the basic routing function, including IP address allocation, routing table management, packet forwarding and so on. It can forward packets from different LAN devices to the destination address correctly and realize the communication between different network segments.
Network Management: It supports bandwidth control function, which can allocate and limit the network bandwidth of different devices or applications to ensure that the network bandwidth for critical services is prioritized. It can also perform traffic statistics and monitoring to help users understand network usage for optimization and management.
Security Protection: With firewall function, it can block unauthorized access and malicious network attacks to protect the security of LAN. Some soft routers also support VPN function, which allows users to access LAN resources remotely and securely.
