Taiwan has developed new breakthroughs in the development of LED white light materials

Taiwan has developed a new breakthrough in the development of light-emitting diode (LED) fluorescent materials. Tsinghua University recently stated that the nanoporous material used in microporous inorganic materials, named NTHU-4, is the first microporous that can emit white light and yellow light. Metal phosphate, unlike the current fluorescent material from electronic lasers, can be illuminated by ultraviolet light from the sun's rays in the future, and a white light source can be excited without adding other compounds. The global white LED technology mainly uses RGB three-color mixing, and uses blue LED plus yellow light fluorescent agent to produce white light. However, the current YAG fluorescent agent with yttrium aluminum garnet knot is still mainly patented by Nichia. Controlled, so the development of other yellow fluorescent inorganic fluorescent materials, has become one of the ways for Taiwan LED manufacturers to get rid of patent clamping. However, the microporous metal phosphates currently published by Tsinghua University are still in the development stage of white LEDs. There is still a period of time from the time when they can be introduced into mass production. In the future, they will be jointly developed with Taiwan LED manufacturers. Accelerate the maturity of new LED white light materials.
